The First Church of Christ is a non-denominational, independent Christian Church, committed to the authority of the Bible and the Lordship of Jesus Christ. We hold firmly to the historic Christian faith and its central beliefs as they have been understood for almost 2,000 years. The First Church of Christ was established in Altoona in 1894. While we have a rich heritage of faith, we know that God doesn't want us to just look back and admire where we came from. He wants us to go forward with faith and determination to be a voice for Christ to this generation and the next. |
