Groups for Couples LIFE (Bi-weekly on Wednesdays 6-8 pm @ Brad and Kelly Windlan’s). This group is all about laughing, encouraging, supporting and growing together. We study God’s Word, pray, talk, eat and have a great time together each meeting! Interested? Contact Brad or Kelly Windlan @ 201-2646. Growing Parents Raising Children(Meet bi-weekly, Hollidaysburg area) Led by Scott Miller. Our group consists of parents with young children. We meet bi-weekly from 6-8PM in homes to fellowship, play time, and to study together. We strive to model Christian fellowship for our children through authentic loving friendships. In the past, coordinating changing schedules has been the biggest obstacle, so our open format is designed to accommodate participants whenever it suits. Interested? STARTING POINT is ONE way to get connected in a small group or Spiritual Partnership @ First Church.
Periodically Pastor Brad will announce a STARTING POINT opportunity--Generally
twice each year (in the Fall - when the groups kick-off, & Shortly after
New Years). Starting Point will provide you with THREE OPPORTUNITIES: 1) You will learn the steps you can take to become part of an existing group. 2) You will learn about Spiritual Partners-- how meeting with one friend on a consistent basis can revolutionize your walk with Christ! 3) You will learn how you and a couple of friends/acquaintances can easily start a small group! |
